Caudex Pro is the first Manuscript Intelligence Platform. From idea to publication with all the work that goes on in between, we treat your manuscript as sacred to protect your voice. We harness artificial intelligence to power human creativity. George is designed to be the ultimate creative partner. George’s multi-step response process gives him the accuracy of a machine with the voice of a friend as he pushes you to new heights.
1. Absolute Security: The “Immutable Law”
The most significant fear for modern authors is an AI “ghostwriter” overwriting their unique voice or messing with their manuscript. Our software will never attempt to write, re-write, or suggest specific language for any work. Caudex Pro solves this through Formal Verification.
- Human-Only Writing: The AI is physically blocked from ever writing directly to your manuscript.
- The “Red Pen” Approach: George can create work orders based on your prompt to make changes or additions to the manuscript, but those changes will appear highlighted until you accept or reject them.
- Ownership Integrity: Every change made to the manuscript, including through George, can be attributed to a user. That activity attribution is intended to support HAVE (Human Authorship: Verified Effort). Specifically, it is intended to support future HAVE records.
2. Deep Story Understanding: The “Brain”
Generic AI tools often forget a character’s eye color by Chapter 3. Caudex Pro uses a Temporal Knowledge Graph to ensure your story remains consistent from start to finish.
- The Story Bible: George maintains a living record of every character, setting, and plot point.
- Story Position Slider: Each tracked element of the story can be viewed by whichever point in the story you choose. This allows you to see each character as they have been described up to that point.
- Time Travel Slider: This slider arranges things in order of story time instead. If a flashback at the end of the story describes something that happened before the beginning then the character biography at the beginning of the story would include the information from the flashback.
- Contextual Awareness: Before every response, George reviews “George Notes” to remind himself of your specific goals and sensitivities—like maintaining a specific character’s voice or avoiding certain tropes.
3. Optimized Creativity: The Bicameral Mind
Writing requires two different mental states: the Flow State (output) and the Strategic State (planning). Caudex Pro is built to support both through its dual-mode architecture.

- Future HAVE Records: HAVE is planned and in development. Our “Flight Recorder” is intended to log activity data that may support future HAVE records, but it cannot currently prove or certify authorship.
- Lossless Memory: Most AI tools suffer from “photocopier effect”—getting blurrier the longer you chat. Caudex Pro uses a “Summary Pump” to store your preferences and story notes as Immutable Fragments, meaning George gets sharper and more helpful the longer you work together.
- Infinite Undo: Powered by Y.js technology, you have a “Time Travel” feature that allows you to replay the evolution of your manuscript at any time.
